/signed i like it.
but i would think a total kill count would be easier.
and only creatures of level 20+ would count.
r1.Slayer 5,000 kills.
r2.Slaughterer 25,000 kills
r3. title here. 50,000 kills
r4. title here 100,000 kills
r5. title here 500,000 kills
r6. title here 1,000,000 kills
Benefits of title.
r2. +5% damage bonus against all foes
r4. +10% damage bonus against all foes
r6. +15% damage bonus against all foes.

Uhh.... weird how people are only suggesting for PvE. I think it would be a good addition to PvP also. It shows the kill count for how many of that specific class you had, but only first profession.
"You have killed 37 Monks so far in ______"
This would only be people that had Monk as their primary profession. This way, it would mabye help people understand a little more what most of their builds or their tactics are effective against what.
So.........

My Rt/Me would have about half a billion Corsairs from Colossal Scimitar farming back when they were good...
The numbers would be skewed to easily from farming, it wouldn't be legit.
Everyone with a 55 Monk would have about 18 billion Mountain Trolls.

I agree that farmed kills would skew the counts for a /kill command but i still think that having it in both PvE and PvP would be invaluable. Currently I am in a growing guild and we are starting to do some organized AB's. Instead of having to count out their deaths and having them report the kills that they made we could just hit /partykills. No offense to our new recruits who may read this but I don't trust you yet ^^

Bleh, I don't need to see some farming wammo flashing his kill count title, then promptly dying in a PUG because he doesn't know how to do anything but his farming route. Useless thing to brag about; it's about as relevant to GW as 1v1 is.

I like the idea, although I think giving it a title or bonus is too much. It should be like the /deaths command. just gives you some nice text update on your totals

In many games like leyend or Mana or Temple of Elemental Evil you have logs of how many creatures of each kind you killed.
In the tittles tab, there will be the tittles.
- Plants
- Dragons
- Skales
- Skree
- Demons
- Beats
- etc...
Some special creatures (hard, unique, but not bosses) may be out of this or have a common title:
Shiro, Kuunavagh, Glint, The Lich Lord, Varesh, Abaddon, Urgoz...

Cool idea.
If they did it for GW2 i reckon you should be able to get some kinda belt and then once you reach [insert number here] kills of a certain species (ie Charr) you get a little pickled charr head that hangs off your belt.
Like i cant remember who used to do in the olden ages, heads on pikes etc.

Hah
I love the idea for heads on the belt, some actual graphic representation of your kills would be insanely cool! The bonus damage idea vs. all foes is kind of a bad idea imo because it would just encourage overfarming of one specific place eg. necros who are planning to do 55/SS would just do a bunch of FoW clears and then could clear them faster thus lowering the prices on items etc.

This could lead to some great titles, such as "Charrbane" or "Scourge of the Aatxe".
Make them limitless so they don't count towards KoaBD, but it would be fun to have a title that let everyone know your bloody-minded, psychopathic desire to wipe all Rain Beetles off of the face of the planet
Hell, if not titles, then some sort of summary page listing each monster type and how many of them you've killed, something that a few single player RPGs have done in the past
In fact, expanding on that last idea, some sort of in-game bestiary would be VERY cool; something that only filled with entries as and when you encountered the monsters, with special entries for bosses
Some of the monsters have fantastic character, and knowing more about them would add a lot of flavour to the game.

How, why and where did you get this idea from? So why the NEW tittle (party) just come out, there is no record of how much did you consume? I believe GM does not have any sort of those craps. The number of monsters you have killed reset everytime you zone to a new town.
This tittle only lead to massive Ascalon or Lion/Lioness farm. There's really no reason why this tittle should exist.
The new one come out (party), I would understand because there are drunkard, sweet tooth tittles. Why not for party items.

Don't we have enough titles that you simply buy? At least you need to actually do something for this one.

They could be non-maxable titles, like the PvP titles, that just count the killed creatures for you.

lol, sounds like fun.
The only problem i see is that is going to be a lot of work for the Devs. There are a lot of monsters out there, a lot of different types of monsters that our hero pannel would be crammed. Maybe in like a 'besitary handbook' would we find the 'titles' for how many monsters we killed.
Good idea, i hope to see it. Probably will be something similar in GW2.
